{Otome Review} Perfect Date~GirlsGoGames

You play as a girl who reorganizes her entire dining room for a date.

General Information:

  • Where to get: Gamesgames.com {still a beautiful website name}
  • Cost: The game is free
  • Love Interests: Five (male)
  • Time to beat: Around 10 minutes

At the start of the game, you get five options of guys and get to see a short description of each. These descriptions tell you what food to serve on the date, but it doesn’t matter since you can randomly click on the food later until you find the one that give the most points.

This bar steadily rises as you do things. At the clothing screen, just click on clothes until you find what outfits raise it the most. After that, you redecorate the entire dining room. Who replaces the wallpaper for a date? To make it worse, it doesn’t matter what it looks like. Just place down whatever the heck you want because you’ll get the same points regardless. You also have to microwave the main dish, except not all the foods should be heated up. Who heats up a tuna sandwich?

From top to bottom, there’s Julio Romero, a musician; Stash, a DJ; Eric Hans, a football player/coach; Alan Polanski, a literature major; and Jake Johnson, a stock broker. I don’t think I need to say it, but the guy’s personalities make no difference. The endings are the same regardless and those are the only places with dialogue.

Hurrah! Here’s the ending so you don’t have to play it.

Should you play?:

It’s a quick-play since you can click randomly most of the time, but it’s so boring. Definitely don’t play this.

P.S. This game has a sequel, but all copies of it I can find seem to be broken, so guess I’m not playing the sequel. Darn.
